Senior Mobile App Development Manager

About the role

Coins, the leading crypto brand in the Philippines, is looking for a Senior Mobile App Development Manager to lead the end‑to‑end development of its flagship mobile applications. You will shape the technical vision, drive innovation, and ensure the apps meet the demanding functional, security and regulatory requirements of digital‑currency trading and financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Define the app development strategy, technical roadmap and quarterly/annual plans aligned with business goals and regulatory standards.
• Design and optimise the mobile architecture, selecting frameworks and technology stacks (iOS Swift, Android Kotlin/Java, cross‑platform Flutter/React Native).
• Research and introduce advanced development tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed implementation schedules.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of app development – from demand analysis, design, coding, unit/integration/UAT testing, to launch and continuous iteration.
• Supervise the delivery of core features such as spot and derivative trading, fund recharge/withdrawal, and user asset management.
• Ensure app security, compliance with BSP regulations and maintain high performance, scalability and stability.
• Lead, mentor and grow a multidisciplinary development team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in mobile app development leadership, preferably in fintech or regulated financial services.
• Strong understanding of mobile security, compliance requirements and best practices for digital‑asset applications.
• Proven track record of managing full‑cycle development projects and delivering high‑quality mobile products.
• Excellent ability to align technical decisions with business objectives.
