Senior Manufacturing Operations Manager, Outsourced Operations

About the role

Cygnify is hiring a Senior Operations Manager, Outsourced Operations, based in Batangas, Philippines. The role reports directly to the Head of Operations and is accountable for the end-to-end management of a client's outsourced manufacturing operations in the Philippines. It leads operational execution, escalates and resolves challenges in partnership delivery, embeds continuous improvement and acts as a role model for the client's high-performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage outsourced manufacturing operations across Consumer Electronics categories (Floor Care, Beauty and others), delivering high-mix, complex products to world-class standards.
• Build executive-level relationships with C-level leaders at partner organizations and act as the client's primary contact for operational execution, escalation and issue resolution.
• Oversee factory performance, compliance with all requirements and local regulations, including CSER, health and safety and ethical standards.
• Define and improve operational KPIs (OTIF, quality, cost, yield, throughput) and lead due diligence on reporting, auditing and analytics.
• Embed continuous improvement using lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen and Hoshin Kanri, and drive waste reduction and process optimization.
• Mentor and develop direct and indirect teams, including partner teams, and champion diversity and inclusion.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as new product introductions, technology transfers and process changes, and lead responses to critical escalations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams internally and with external partners.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of senior leadership experience in electronics or contract manufacturing operations, in high-mix, complex environments.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Operations Management or a related technical discipline.
• Experience managing direct and indirect teams, with proven ability to engage with senior leadership and external partners.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Mandarin or Cantonese is advantageous.
