Senior Manager/Director – Technology Strategy & Transformation (Financial Services)

About the role

Deloitte’s Technology Strategy & Transformation team in Southeast Asia is seeking a senior leader to partner with high‑profile banking and insurance clients. You will shape technology strategies, define operating models, and guide large‑scale transformation programmes across the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Engage directly with senior client stakeholders to develop technology strategy, architecture and operating models for incumbent banks, neo‑banks, insurers and related institutions.
• Lead the technology workstream for complex M&A programmes, ensuring seamless integration of IT assets.
• Design and deliver cloud transformation roadmaps, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.
• Collaborate with Deloitte’s global network to bring cutting‑edge solutions and best practices to client engagements.
• Support senior IT leadership in building and evolving the client’s IT function, including governance, roles and processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (typically 10+ years) in technology strategy, transformation or consulting within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of leading large, multi‑disciplinary projects for banking, insurance or fintech clients.
• Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to influence senior executives.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic concepts into actionable implementation plans.
