Senior Manager – Program Services, Compliance & Grants

About the role

The Senior Manager will lead the delivery of program services, grants, compliance, finance, procurement and risk management functions, ensuring all activities meet DFAT requirements. This position reports to senior leadership and works closely with project teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee program services and grant management to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with DFAT policies, regulations and reporting standards.
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, procurement processes and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, providing guidance and performance oversight.
• Prepare and present compliance and financial reports to stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in program services, grants administration, compliance and financial management.
• Strong knowledge of DFAT or similar donor compliance frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in an international development context.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
