Senior Internal Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to support internal audit planning and deliver audit services across various entities and departments. The role focuses on evaluating and enhancing governance, risk management, and control effectiveness while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify weaknesses, and assess risk exposures.
• Review processes, policies, and procedures for efficiency and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
• Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments to prioritize audit activities.
• Assist in fraud investigations when required.
• Collaborate with department heads to strengthen internal control systems and improve operational effectiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Auditing, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 35 years of relevant experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or risk management.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, audit procedures, and risk assessment.
• Knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of integrity, objectivity, and professionalism.
• CPA or CIA certification is an advantage but not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with audit tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
