Senior Flutter Mobile Engineer (Wearables)

About the role

HLTH is building a continuous health‑optimization platform powered by a biometric wearable. As a Senior Flutter Mobile Engineer you will own the end‑to‑end mobile experience, ensuring reliable data collection over low‑power BLE while keeping battery impact minimal.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain the cross‑platform Flutter/Dart codebase and overall architecture.
• Create native bridging modules in Swift and Kotlin for platform‑specific features and critical performance paths.
• Manage BLE connection lifecycles, including discovery, reconnection, MTU handling, and reliable data transfer.
• Integrate the app with Supabase (auth, database, realtime) and Cloudflare R2 for high‑volume health data storage.
• Build offline‑first experiences using local storage (Drift) and secure storage, ensuring robust synchronization.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Fastlane for automated builds to TestFlight and the Play Console.
• Implement basic error monitoring with Sentry and track product events via PostHog.
• Define code standards, make architecture decisions, and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Multiple production Flutter apps shipped to both the App Store and Google Play.
• Strong expertise in Dart and modern Flutter state‑management (Riverpod or Bloc preferred).
• Hands‑on experience writing and debugging native Swift and Kotlin code for bridging.
• Production‑grade experience with Bluetooth Low Energy on mobile devices.
• Experience owning or heavily contributing to mobile CI/CD pipelines.
