Senior Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Senior Finance Officer to lead our financial operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver insights that drive business growth. This position operates in a fast‑paced, remote environment and works closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections; analyse performance and advise management.
• Oversee daily accounting, month‑end and year‑end closings, and produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage tax filings, statutory reports and ensure compliance with Philippine accounting and tax regulations.
• Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, cash forecasting and fund management; supervise accounts receivable and payable.
• Maintain and enhance internal controls, financial policies and support audit activities.
• Partner with other departments to provide financial analysis, cost optimisation and profitability insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
• 5–7 years of experience in accounting, finance or financial reporting, preferably in retail, FMCG, distribution or multinational environments.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation and financial reporting requirements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while managing multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or NetSuite.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with financial reporting or Business Intelligence tools.
