Senior Finance Manager

About the role

Alba Renewables is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead its Finance Department in the Philippines. You will ensure financial integrity, sustainability, and regulatory compliance across all business units and project companies while supporting executive management with strategic financial insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management for multi‑entity operations.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, taxation and statutory compliance.
• Produce timely consolidated financial statements and strengthen internal controls and corporate governance.
• Provide financial oversight for renewable energy development and construction projects.
• Support investment evaluations, commercial negotiations and strategic initiatives.
• Manage relationships with auditors, banks, tax authorities, regulators and other external stakeholders.
• Mentor and develop a high‑performing finance team and drive continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in multi‑entity or project‑based environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (or equivalent) and Philippine tax and regulatory requirements.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of IFRS accounting standards.
