Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

About the role

Dexcom’s Enterprise Information Security Team is looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to protect the company’s global infrastructure. You will work on security engineering, operations, and related services, applying automation and scripting to strengthen our defenses.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scripts and automation for information security tasks.
• Conduct security assessments of new tools, applications, and systems.
• Process and manage requests for URL filtering, privileged account management, DLP, and firewall rule review.
• Design, deploy, and support security infrastructure such as DLP, SWG, UBA, EDR, SIEM, MDM, and NAC.
• Lead security infrastructure projects and provide consulting to promote best practices.
• Assist third‑party penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and remediation activities.
• Support incident response, threat containment, and compliance audit activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2.5 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT, or security engineering.

Required skills

• Scripting and automation (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Security assessments and vulnerability analysis.
• URL filtering, privileged account management, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), firewall rule review.
• Secure Web Gateway (SWG), User Behavior Analytics (UBA), Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR), Security Information & Event Management (SIEM), Mobile Device Management (MDM), Network Access Control (NAC).
• Penetration testing support, incident response, threat containment.
• Compliance audit support and data privacy knowledge.
