Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will lead the development of our cyber security capability, aligning defenses with the evolving threat landscape. This role covers vulnerability management, access control, security platform engineering, and detection & response activities across on‑premise and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security platforms (SIEM, PAM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, CNAPP, AV).
• Identify, prioritize and remediate vulnerabilities across Windows, Linux and cloud workloads.
• Manage privileged access, enforce access controls and develop automation scripts (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Provide security metrics, review architecture designs and embed security controls in system and cloud solutions, especially AWS.
• Lead penetration‑test remediation and support secure‑by‑design principles throughout projects.
• Maintain awareness of emerging threats, cloud security best practices and the latest security tooling.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of hands‑on cybersecurity engineering experience across multiple domains.
• Proven experience with vulnerability management, SIEM, PAM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP and cloud security platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, Active Directory and web application security.
• Ability to act autonomously during critical incidents and communicate technical risks to non‑technical stakeholders.
