Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

GoTymeX is building the next generation of digital financial platforms. As a Senior Backend Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend services that power our digital banking products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain backend services and APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and security.
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute technical expertise to improve system design.
• Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to deliver features on schedule in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents to ensure high availability.
• Continuously improve code quality through reviews, refactoring, and automation.

Required profile

• At least 5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or equivalent languages.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, schema design, and query optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and container technologies.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
