Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

About the role

Analog Devices is looking for an experienced Senior Analog IC Design Engineer to join its Custom Silicon Solutions (CSS) group, which develops sensing and signal processing solutions for portable consumer applications. The engineer works on new product solutions and engages directly with Tier 1 OEMs, with supervisor and mentor leadership opportunities. The team is based across several sites including Valencia (Spain), Cork and Limerick (Ireland), Newbury (England), Cavite and BGC (Philippines).

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the detailed definition and architecture of high-performance mixed-signal devices.
• Perform IC block design, transistor-level circuit design and simulation.
• Use recommended design and verification techniques, tools and flows to build efficient designs that meet functional, power and timing objectives.
• Integrate blocks into larger mixed-signal systems and support layout, lab evaluation and testing.
• Deliver technical presentations to internal engineering teams and customers.
• Improve analog design methodologies to reduce time and cost to market.
• Take a full-cell ownership role, contributing to new products from architecture selection through implementation and debug.

Required profile

• Electronic Engineering degree with 5+ years of experience as an analog/mixed-signal IC designer.
• Good knowledge of analog and mixed-signal electronics, tools and flows.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
• Some limited travel (about 10% of the time); normal working hours in the Philippines.

Required skills

• Analog and mixed-signal circuit design, including amplifiers, DACs, ADCs, bandgap references, bias circuits, LDOs, switching power supplies and audio circuits.
• Integration of analog blocks (converters, power management) in complex microcontroller systems is an advantage.
