Senior Accounting (CPA) – Hybrid (Philippines)

About the role

Directio is seeking a Senior Accounting professional (CPA) to support a French client in the eyewear industry. The role combines on‑site work in Alabang with remote days, focusing on financial statement preparation and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and supplementary schedules for assigned Business Units.
• Coordinate monthly results with Business Units and review accounting transactions.
• Maintain fixed‑asset and tax books, and support FSSC and BU Finance reporting.
• Monitor bank reconciliation items and follow up on outstanding items.
• Reconcile intercompany AR/AP on a monthly basis.
• Implement new procedures, Management of Change (MOC) and continuous improvements.
• Supervise and develop Junior Accountant, including task delegation and training plans.
• Act as emergency response Incident Commander per EH&S mandate.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on audit or financial accounting experience.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation.
• Availability for hybrid work: 3 days onsite in Alabang, 2 days work‑from‑home.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reconciliations and data analysis.
• Experience with comprehensive ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to work efficiently with large data sets.
