Senior Accountant – US GAAP & Tax Specialist

About the role

TOA Global is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to lead international financial operations from our Philippines hub. Working night‑shift onsite, you will own the full accounting cycle, ensure US GAAP compliance, manage multi‑state tax filings and support audit processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and produce US GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Oversee full‑cycle AP, AR and general ledger activities, establishing internal controls and accounting policies.
• Manage inventory accounting, COGS analysis, stock valuation and variance reporting across facilities.
• Coordinate federal, state and local tax filings, estimated tax schedules, provisions and deferred tax calculations.
• Serve as primary liaison for external auditors, preparing audit schedules and PBC workpapers.
• Supervise and mentor a junior bookkeeper, delegating data‑entry tasks and conducting quality reviews.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, optimize ERP usage and provide strategic financial insights to leadership.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience with a focus on US GAAP and multi‑state tax compliance.
• Proven track record in financial reporting, audit coordination and people leadership.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently on a night‑shift schedule.
