Senior Accountant

About the role

Join Trane Technologies as a Senior Accountant and play a key part in delivering reliable financial reporting and analysis. You will work closely with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate data supports strategic decisions for our sustainable climate solutions business.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Financial Controller with report generation, variance analysis, and assessment of company financial health.
• Lead monthly account reconciliations and enforce compliance with reporting standards.
• Determine standard costs, investigate variances, monitor project spending, and improve revenue‑cycle processes.
• Drive timely processing of transactional activities for management decision‑making.
• Review and assess financial policies, recommending improvements.
• Coordinate external and internal audits and manage tax statutory filings.
• Perform other ad‑hoc finance tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a minimum of 8 years of relevant finance experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial operating systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to solve complex problems and integrate data from diverse sources.
