SEA4 Tax Manager

About the role

The SEA4 Tax Manager will lead tax governance and risk management across the SEA4 region, ensuring compliance with both global policies and local regulations. This senior position works closely with finance, business units, and external advisors to deliver accurate tax reporting and strategic advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead tax governance and risk management for SEA4, aligning with global policies and local laws.
• Oversee corporate income tax (CIT), VAT, and withholding tax (WHT) compliance and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage tax audits and interactions with tax authorities, driving consistent strategies and reducing exposure.
• Provide tax advisory to business and finance teams on cross‑border and operational matters.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into clear guidance for internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external advisors and shared services to ensure an effective delivery model.
• Drive process standardisation, improve tax control, and enhance documentation practices.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting or Tax.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 5 years in tax with exposure to multiple tax areas.
• Experience in a Big 4 consulting firm is strongly preferred.
• Professional tax qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CA.
• Proven ability to operate in fast‑moving, ambiguous environments and manage multiple priorities across markets.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Professional tax certifications (CPA, ACCA, CA).
