Sea Logistics Specialist – Confirm Vessel Departure

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will ensure that vessels leave on schedule, handling all related documentation and coordination. Your work supports the timely delivery of medicines, toys, machine parts and other critical goods worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor vessel schedules and confirm departures according to plan.
• Coordinate with shipping agents and other parties to meet all departure requirements.
• Verify and process documentation such as CTD numbers, container numbers, bills of lading and export leg bundles.
• Maintain accurate records of departures and related paperwork.
• Provide clients and stakeholders with timely updates on vessel status.
• Resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise during the departure process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2‑3 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, public holidays and overtime as needed.
