SAP CPI & APIM Developer

About the role

Tech Mahindra Philippines is looking for an experienced SAP CPI & APIM Developer to design, build and support enterprise integration and API solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role focuses on cloud integration scenarios, API management and security frameworks to ensure seamless connectivity between SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement integration flows in SAP CPI following SAP Clean Core guidelines.
• Build resilient, scalable integrations with error handling, retry mechanisms and monitoring.
• Develop and manage API proxies, products and advanced policies in SAP API Management.
• Write Groovy/JavaScript scripts for transformations, validations and performance optimisation.
• Integrate event‑driven scenarios using SAP Event Mesh.
• Apply API‑first design principles with high security (OAuth2.0, SAML, JWT, certificates).
• Collaborate with architects to ensure performance‑resilient, cloud‑compliant designs.
• Troubleshoot, optimise and monitor integration flows and APIs for high availability.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in SAP CPI integration development.
• Proven experience with SAP API Management policies (throttling, quota, security, traffic management).
• Strong Groovy scripting skills for advanced integration logic.
• Knowledge of event‑driven architecture and SAP Event Mesh patterns.
• Familiarity with SAP Clean Core principles and extensibility best practices.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities in multi‑team environments.
