Safety Officer

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to implement and supervise occupational risk prevention measures across its diverse business units in the Philippines. You will adapt safety protocols to the specific needs of offices, maintenance areas, and real‑estate projects, ensuring a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments at work centers and workstations, documenting potential safety hazards.
• Update and adjust prevention plans for each business division, tailoring measures to local conditions.
• Monitor compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, especially in mobility, logistics, and construction units.
• Investigate accidents, analyse root causes, and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure consistent implementation of the corporate occupational risk prevention protocol.
• Collaborate with corporate areas and business leaders to develop and monitor corrective actions.
• Perform periodic site visits to verify compliance and evaluate effectiveness of safety measures.

Required profile

• Great attention to detail.
• Proactive and diligent work ethic.
• HSE certification (BOSH, COSH or OSH).
• Bachelor’s degree in construction‑related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years experience as a Safety Officer.
