RTO Trainer & Assessor – TAE Cert IV

About the role

PeoplePartners is looking for an AU RTO Trainer & Assessor to deliver nationally recognised vocational training and assessment. You will empower learners to achieve competency while ensuring compliance with Australian training standards.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver training and assessment aligned with nationally recognised Training Packages.
• Prepare, facilitate and assess units of competency using adult‑learning principles.
• Conduct competency‑based assessments, including Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
• Provide timely, constructive feedback and ongoing coaching to learners.
• Maintain compliance with the Standards for RTOs 2025, the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and organisational policies.
• Complete the TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training while in the role.
• Coordinate with Student Services to ensure up‑to‑date learning materials and resources.
• Maintain accurate learner records, trainer reports and assessment documentation.
• Participate in validation, moderation and continuous improvement activities.
• Assist in developing and reviewing Training and Assessment Strategies and learning resources.
• Promote equal access to learning and support diverse learner needs.

Required profile

• Experience delivering training and assessment against nationally recognised Training Packages.
• Ability to prepare, facilitate and assess units of competency.
• Familiarity with the Standards for RTOs 2025 and the Australian Qualifications Framework.
• Willingness to complete the TAE50122 Diploma while employed.
• Strong organisational skills for maintaining learner records and documentation.
• Commitment to inclusive learning and supporting diverse learner needs.
