Reports Officer – Banking Regulatory Reporting

About the role

The Reports Officer is responsible for gathering, processing, and delivering regulatory and management reports for a bank. This role ensures timely and accurate submission of key treasury and compliance reports to the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare BSP Treasury reports such as Net Stable Funding Ratio, Liquidity Coverage Ratio, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Basel III Leverage Ratio, Intraday Liquidity, and GL FX.
• Ensure accurate preparation and on‑time submission of all regulatory reports.
• Process data for internal and regulatory reporting at least one to two days before due dates, adhering to service level agreements.
• Assist in updating the Regulatory Reporting Operations Manual when process improvements are identified.
• Handle queries and verifications from head‑office units, BSP, and PDIC regarding submitted reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors (SGV/BSP) to gather and consolidate data for audit examinations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related business field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a bank or quasi‑bank, preferably in a Reports unit.
• CPA certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of BSP Manual of Regulations (MOR) and applicable Accounting Standards.
