Remote US Accountant – Full Charge Bookkeeping

About the role

We are looking for a Remote US Accountant to own the full‑charge bookkeeping for a portfolio of US‑based small and medium businesses. Working from the Philippines on a night‑shift schedule, you will ensure financial integrity using QuickBooks or NetSuite and act as a trusted analytical partner for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records for multiple US entities in compliance with US GAAP.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, perform bank and credit‑card reconciliations, and optimise cash flow.
• Process payroll through QuickBooks or integrated third‑party payroll solutions and handle quarterly/annual tax preparation.
• Record financing transactions, including loans, interest, and asset depreciation.
• Execute month‑end close, prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages, and collaborate with US‑based controllers on budgeting and discrepancy resolution.

Required profile

• 2+ years of full‑charge bookkeeping experience.
• 2+ years using QuickBooks and/or NetSuite.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and interact with various management levels.
• Working knowledge of prepaids, accruals, and deferred revenue.
