Remote System & Network Administrator (Philippines)

About the role

The Proactive Team seeks a senior System and Network Administrator to work remotely from the Philippines. You will act as a Tier‑3 escalation point, drive automation, and ensure proactive service delivery across a diverse IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and refine proactive monitoring alerts for patching, disk space, antivirus and hardware/software events.
• Mentor technicians, provide Tier‑3 escalation support, and develop staff toward Tier‑2 engineering competence.
• Create and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce manual workloads.
• Develop and keep up‑to‑date SOPs, knowledge‑base articles and technical documentation.
• Review closed tickets for quality, identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the Proactive Service Manager and operations leaders to align technical initiatives with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven technical leadership in IT services, cybersecurity or systems/network administration.
• Extensive experience handling Tier‑3 escalations across Windows Server environments.
• Strong background in networking, including VPN, VLAN, firewalls and switch configuration.
• Hands‑on experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Microsoft Hyper‑V.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments and creating technical documentation.
• Excellent problem‑solving, root‑cause analysis and project leadership skills.
