Remote Senior Information Technology System Administrator

About the role

Intelligent Technical Solutions is seeking a Remote Senior Information Technology System Administrator to deliver high‑quality IT support to our clients. You will work independently, troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues, and ensure service excellence while collaborating with a distributed team.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve workstation operating system problems (Windows and macOS).
• Troubleshoot printer and standard business application issues (Office, Adobe, etc.).
• Support line‑of‑business applications such as SAGE ERP and QuickBooks, escalating to vendors when needed.
• Address advanced server issues across Windows Server 2016‑2025 environments.
• Handle basic and intermediate networking problems, including firewalls and switches.
• Act as an escalation point for junior technicians.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours and weekend support.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• Proven experience with Windows, macOS, Server 2016‑2025, VMWare and Hyper‑V virtualization.
• Hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Azure services.
• Basic knowledge of firewalls, switches, network architecture, and troubleshooting.
• Strong command of spoken and written English.
• Ability to work full‑time (40 hrs/week) on PST schedule.
