About the role
We are looking for a dependable, customer‑focused Level 1 Help Desk Technician to provide first‑line technical support for our remote healthcare technology and medical billing teams. You will work closely with operations, billing, reporting, and leadership staff, ensuring smooth daily IT operations.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first‑level support for hardware, software, and account‑related issues.
- Troubleshoot Windows, macOS, printers, Microsoft 365, VPN, and network connectivity problems.
- Manage user accounts, password resets, MFA setup, and onboarding/off‑boarding tasks.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when needed.
- Document tickets, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions accurately.
- Assist with workstation setup, device imaging, inventory tracking, and equipment deployment.
- Support remote employees using remote‑access tools while adhering to HIPAA and security best practices.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of IT help‑desk or technical support experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple requests in a fast‑paced environment.
- Professional, service‑oriented mindset.
Required skills
- Windows and macOS troubleshooting.
- Microsoft 365 administration.
- VPN, networking basics, and printer support.
- User account management, MFA, and onboarding/off‑boarding.
- Ticketing systems and remote support tools (e.g., ScreenConnect).
- Device imaging, inventory tracking, and equipment deployment.
- Awareness of HIPAA compliance.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Huntress (preferred).
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification (preferred).
