Remote Human Resources Specialist – Full‑time

About the role

The Human Resources Specialist will work remotely from Cebu, supporting the entire employee lifecycle for a growing home‑care organization. This full‑time position involves recruiting, onboarding, and off‑boarding staff across office and field locations while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Post job openings, screen candidates, and coordinate interview schedules.
• Conduct background checks and prepare employment contracts and related documentation.
• Administer HR policies, maintain accurate employee records, and support payroll inputs.
• Coordinate employee benefits, leave requests, and insurance documentation.
• Address HR inquiries, assist with performance management, and organize training or engagement activities.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal procedures.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and management teams to foster a positive workplace.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Human Resources and experience managing end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes.
• Knowledge of HR policies and local labor regulations applied consistently and fairly.
• Experience administering employee benefits and coordinating leave and insurance documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS or HR‑related systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
