Relationship Manager

About the role
The Relationship Manager will develop, maintain and strengthen relationships with corporate clients, travel agents and business partners. The role focuses on delivering exceptional service, driving sales growth and identifying new business opportunities within the travel and tourism sector.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with corporate clients, travel partners and key accounts.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, concerns and service requests promptly.
- Identify new business opportunities and generate leads to expand the company's customer base.
- Promote and sell the company's travel products and services, including holiday packages, airline tickets, hotel accommodations, visa assistance, transportation and other travel‑related services.
- Prepare customized travel proposals and quotations based on client requirements.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing and service agreements with clients when appropriate.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations and business reviews to strengthen relationships.
- Coordinate with operations, reservations, ticketing, finance and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities and account updates in the CRM system.
- Participate in travel exhibitions, networking events and promotional activities to generate new business.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Minimum of 25 years of experience in account management, relationship management, sales or business development, preferably within the travel or tourism industry.
- Experience managing corporate travel accounts is an advantage.
Required skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Proven sales and negotiation skills.
- Customer‑focused with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Knowledge of travel booking systems and travel industry products is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
