Relationship Manager – Corporate Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager for Corporate Banking will manage loan packaging, administration, and the ongoing maintenance of corporate and commercial accounts. Acting as the primary liaison between the bank and its clients, you will ensure high‑quality loan portfolios and timely corrective actions for deteriorating accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate loan applications and renewals, recommending approval or decline based on risk analysis.
• Solicit new loan and deposit business from top‑tier corporations and referrals.
• Coordinate with the Credit Administration Service (CAS) to gather documentary requirements and facilitate loan implementation.
• Process Applications for Accommodation (AA) efficiently through thorough loan proposal analysis.
• Conduct market research on commercial products and regularly benchmark interest rates against competitors.
• Prepare detailed account write‑ups, including financial highlights and business context, to support facility proposals.
• Identify and mitigate risks by analysing client management, repayment capacity, and collateral quality.
• Handle client requests such as extensions, interest deductions, and waivers, adjusting facilities where appropriate.

Required profile

• Graduate with a 4‑year degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Commerce, Banking & Finance or equivalent.
• 2‑3 years of experience in corporate banking relationship management, marketing, or loan syndication.
• Experience in real‑estate lending, managing large corporate accounts, or offshore lending is an advantage.
• Strong team player who can also work independently.
