Regional Key Account Manager

About the role

The Regional Key Account Manager will lead Getz’s partnership with Mercury Drug Corporation (MDC) across assigned regions in the Philippines. Reporting to the National Key Accounts Head, the role acts as the primary liaison with MDC’s Regional Vice Presidents of Operations to drive execution of national strategies, sales growth, and store‑level product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for MDC Regional VPs, translating national account strategies into region‑specific execution plans.
• Implement business agreements, trade activations, merchandising, pricing, and supply‑chain initiatives across covered stores.
• Achieve assigned sales, distribution and profitability targets while identifying new portfolio expansion opportunities.
• Monitor competitor activity and propose counter‑strategies to protect Getz’s market share.
• Improve market hygiene by reducing trade returns, enforcing inventory discipline, and ensuring compliance with merchandising programs.
• Influence regional stakeholders to maintain optimal product availability and negotiate appropriate stock levels.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain, Brand Marketing, Trade Marketing and Field Force teams to align regional initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with MDC regional leadership, representing Getz in business reviews and joint planning sessions.
