Reconciliation Manager – Record to Insight (Finance Shared Services)

About the role

The Reconciliation Manager will lead the Reconciliation Tower within the Record to Insight Finance Shared Services Center. This role ensures the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of balance‑sheet reconciliations across Genesys entities while maintaining strict control compliance. You will drive standardisation, operational excellence and automation to resolve recurring issues at their source.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Reconciliation Tower, guaranteeing reconciliations meet policy, procedure, service‑level and control requirements.
• Own the full reconciliation lifecycle: account assignment, preparation, review, approval, certification, issue resolution, aging management and escalation of high‑risk items.
• Manage team resources and multiple workstreams to achieve operational objectives and shared‑services goals.
• Monitor and report KPIs such as timeliness, quality, aging, recurring items and risk trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure documentation is complete, accurate and that reconciling items are investigated, justified and resolved.
• Enforce governance, risk management and control discipline, including SOX compliance, US GAAP, audit trails and internal‑control frameworks.
• Analyse data and operational challenges to identify trends, assess risks and determine root causes.

Required profile

• Strong leader with deep accounting and reconciliation expertise.
• Excellent judgment and ability to manage multiple workstreams and complex issues.
• Effective communicator who can present insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Proven experience in risk management, governance and control environments.
