Reactive Value Chain Administrator

About the role

The Reactive Value Chain Administrator will coordinate the flow of IT equipment and services from suppliers to internal teams, ensuring timely delivery, accurate inventory, and compliance with customs regulations. This full-time position supports both domestic and overseas operations, acting as the primary liaison between the company, vendors, and customs authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers to secure timely delivery of IT equipment and services, manage inventory levels, and perform stock reconciliations.
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, evaluation, quoting, and ordering.
• Maintain accurate transaction records and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand.
• Monitor supplier performance, optimise the supply chain for cost-efficiency, and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customs authorities, serving as the single point of contact for customs-related matters.
• Provide guidance to departments on overseas activities, recommend operational improvements, and keep clients informed of shipment status.
• Stay updated on customs regulations, advise staff and clients on compliance, and submit weekly reports on permit fees and export/import metrics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in logistics or procurement preferred.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with standard office software.
