Ramp Equipment Operator – Mactan (Cebu)

About the role

Join the ground handling team at Mactan‑Cebu International Airport as a Ramp Equipment Operator. You will operate a range of ground support equipment to support aircraft turnaround, baggage and cargo handling, and passenger services. The role ensures safe, timely, and efficient operations on the ramp.

Key responsibilities

• Position ground equipment at the aircraft parking zone at least 15 minutes before arrival.
• Tow baggage and cargo dollies between aircraft, warehouse, and build‑up areas.
• Operate GSE such as tow tractors, forklifts, belt loaders, and air stairs.
• Conduct 360‑degree safety checks and brake tests before and after equipment use.
• Load and unload baggage/cargo quickly and safely within carrier‑prescribed time.
• Handle special cargo including live animals, dangerous goods, and heavy items.
• Install stanchions and divider nets before cargo door closure.
• Marshal ground equipment and communicate via headset for aircraft servicing.
• Clean, secure, and return equipment to its designated parking area after use.
• Assist with cabin cleaning and passenger boarding assistance when needed.

Required profile

• High School or Senior High School graduate.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in a fast‑paced environment.
• Valid Professional Driver’s License (Codes 1, 2, 3).
• At least 1 year of professional driving experience preferred.
• Safety‑oriented, reliable, and a team player.
