R2R Director

About the role

The R2R Director will report to the Global Business Service Leader and be based in Makati, Philippines. This senior leader is responsible for end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report activities, overseeing core accounting operations and ensuring a strong control environment for accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the accounting operations team, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management across the Record‑to‑Report scope.
• Own the month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring governance, adherence to timelines and high‑quality execution.
• Drive balance‑sheet reconciliations, review controls and resolve outstanding items to maintain financial record integrity.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors, preparing schedules and ensuring timely closure of audit observations.
• Standardize accounting processes and controls globally, identifying automation opportunities and applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency.
• Support statutory financial reporting and coordinate statutory audit requirements with regional stakeholders.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Record‑to‑Report functions in a global or multinational service‑center environment.
• Strong knowledge of month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close, balance‑sheet reconciliation and audit coordination.
• Demonstrated ability to build high‑performing teams, manage performance and develop talent pipelines.
• Experience driving process standardization, automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Excellent governance mindset with a focus on control, compliance and financial accuracy.
