Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for monitoring compliance with statutory, regulatory and company standards within a cold‑storage or food‑production environment. The role ensures health and safety standards are upheld for the facility, its employees, and the goods received and dispatched.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor storage temperature and conditions of products in the warehouse.
• Inspect product quality during receiving and dispatch and report any deviations.
• Oversee housekeeping activities to maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Conduct internal daily facility audits using internal and NMIS checklists.

Required profile

• BS degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related food/pharmaceutical field.
• Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in cold storage, warehouse, or food production.
• Knowledge of cold‑chain management, food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Certificates such as NMIS, HACCP, GMP, Food Safety, or Occupational Safety are preferred.
