Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will ensure that DHL Supply Chain’s operations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. This role involves auditing processes, implementing control measures, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify non‑conformities.
• Implement quality control measures and processes to prevent issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to investigate and resolve quality‑related problems.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality performance metrics.
• Provide training and guidance to production and operations staff on quality procedures.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry regulations, standards, and quality management principles.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality systems and processes.
• Support the implementation and sustainability of the Operations Management System (OMS) on site.
• Drive the 4 OMS principles and 12 OMS elements, and coach site leadership.
• Assist with job standardization, continuous improvement, and team coaching.

Required profile

• College diploma or degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or control role, preferably in manufacturing, transport, or logistics.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001.
• Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with quality management software and data analysis tools.
• Experience with performance management, productivity, and continuous improvement methodologies.
