QA Engineer III (Data‑Actuarial)

About the role

The QA Engineer III (Data‑Actuarial) is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining automated test solutions for data‑driven actuarial applications. You will work closely with product, development and business teams to ensure high‑quality releases.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile Program Manager, Digital Product Manager and Business Systems Analyst to define regression, integration and automation test plans.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Python, Java, JavaScript, C# and related frameworks.
• Troubleshoot and optimise existing automation frameworks.
• Execute functional validation, sprint testing and defect reporting.
• Lead scrum test teams, mentor junior members and promote best practices.
• Continuously improve automation workflows and stay current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 5‑12 years of experience in testing, SDET or development roles.
• Strong understanding of OOP concepts (inheritance, abstraction, encapsulation, polymorphism).
• Hands‑on experience with manual and automated testing across functional, integration, regression, smoke, sanity and UAT.
• Proficiency in SQL and data‑transformation, with knowledge of ETL/ELT processes.
