Python Backend/API Developer (Flexible Office & Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Python Backend/API Developer to design and maintain scalable server‑side applications. The role involves building APIs, integrating with front‑end components, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a flexible office/remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend features using Python and Pydantic.
• Build and optimise APIs and server‑side logic.
• Test, debug, and improve application performance.
• Collaborate with development teams to define technical requirements.
• Integrate front‑end elements into applications seamlessly.
• Contribute to Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Support the development of new business modules and technical solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong expertise in Python frameworks such as Tornado, FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
• Deep understanding of multi‑process architecture and Python threading limitations.
• Familiarity with testing and debugging tools.
• Knowledge of scalable application design principles.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a proactive “go‑getter” attitude.
