Purchasing Staff

About the role

The Purchasing Staff member will support the procurement function by processing purchase requests, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring that inventory levels meet operational needs. This role works closely with warehouse personnel and various internal departments to maintain smooth material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Process purchase requests and obtain quotations from suppliers.
• Coordinate deliveries, monitor inventory levels, and ensure stock availability.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and related documentation.
• Work with warehouse staff on receiving, storage, and issuance of items.
• Verify deliveries against purchase orders and update inventory records.
• Assist in inventory counting, reconciliation, and transaction monitoring.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of procurement and warehouse records.
• Liaise with different departments to communicate material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience in purchasing, inventory control, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computer systems.
• Competence in standard office applications.
