Project Manager, Business Operations

About the role

You will join a fast‑growing firm that builds the financial backbone for ambitious consumer brands. As the Project Manager, Business Operations you will own the operational connective tissue that keeps accounting and CFO services running smoothly for multiple clients. This senior, non‑client‑facing role focuses on designing, documenting, and running processes that enable seamless onboarding and ongoing service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Set up full system access for every new engagement, including accounting (QuickBooks Online), payroll, bill‑pay, e‑commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Cin7) and read‑only banking.
• Maintain an end‑to‑end access governance checklist, verify completeness before work starts and revoke permissions on off‑boarding.
• Coordinate onboarding and service delivery between the Accounting Program and CFO Services to provide a seamless client experience.
• Document processes, ensure adoption across teams and manage relationships with recruiting partners and external vendors.

Required profile

• Proven ability to design, document and drive processes from blueprint to adoption.
• Self‑starter who runs built processes without reminders and closes loops proactively.
• Highly tech‑savvy, quick to learn new software and continuously seeks automation.
• Comfortable working in writing across multiple time zones with clarity and precision.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (QBO) and related accounting tools.
• Shopify, Amazon Marketplace and Cin7 inventory platforms.
• Read‑only banking access systems.
• Strong familiarity with financial systems and access‑permission management.
