Project Inspector – Transmission Engineer 1 (Proj P)

About the role

The Project Inspector – Transmission Engineer 1 will support Surbana Jurong’s transmission line and power infrastructure projects in the Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring design, installation, testing and commissioning activities meet grid code, utility and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee transmission line design, tower erection, conductor stringing and related construction activities.
• Validate quantity, progress and compliance with ISO 9001 and FIDIC contract provisions.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and SCADA integration for new assets.
• Interpret electrical single‑line diagrams and layout drawings to ensure correct implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Master’s degree in Power Systems Engineering (preferred).
• Licensed Electrical Engineer (PRC or equivalent).
• PMP certification and safety training (BOSH/COSH or equivalent).
• ISO 9001 Internal Auditor and QA/QC training.
• 8–10 years of engineering experience, with at least 5 years in transmission line or power infrastructure projects.
• Experience in dam and hydropower projects, renewable energy integration and remote or mountainous sites.
