Project-in-Charge – Construction & Installation Lead

About the role

The Project‑in‑Charge (PIC) leads construction and installation activities on project sites, ensuring safe, timely and quality delivery. Reporting remotely to the Project Manager and COD Head, the PIC acts as the on‑site authority when a dedicated Project Manager is not present.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee site construction management and ensure compliance with project plans, Method Statements, and QCAPP.
• Attend pre‑mobilization inspections with Design and Safety teams and submit punch lists.
• Prepare and submit Material Requisition Slips (MRS) and coordinate procurement of tools, materials, and services.
• Assist in preparing Bill of Quantities for Civil Works subcontractor procurement.
• Conduct regular site inspections, monitor daily activities, and report non‑conformances.
• Provide project updates, concerns, and accomplishment reports to the Immediate Manager and COD Head.
• Recommend solutions for delays and prepare time‑extension requests.
• Prepare and endorse progress billing and variation order reports.
• Maintain daily logs, weekly accomplishment reports, PMCom and KPI reports.
• Coordinate test packages, OIM, Testing & Commissioning documentation for NSP projects.
• Address punch lists, supervise demobilization, lead rectification works, and secure handover sign‑off.
• Support O&M teams during warranty periods and supervise Project/Site Engineers and NSP personnel.

Required profile

• Graduate of BS Civil Engineering (SP) or BS Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (NSP) with a PRC license.
• 1–2 years experience as Project Engineer or Project‑in‑Charge.
• Good scholastic record and strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of Project Planning & Management.
• Familiarity with 2D/3D CADD.
• Experience with SketchUp (advantage).
