Project Controller – Renewable Energy Projects

About the role
The Project Controller will oversee financial planning and control for renewable energy construction projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, and compliance are met.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage project financial plans and budgets.
- Process invoicing and track daily expenditures.
- Establish project timelines, map milestones, and monitor progress.
- Identify cost overruns or delays, assess risks, and manage scope changes.
- Provide data‑driven analytics, financial forecasts, and status reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with corporate governance, financial regulations, and tax requirements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years experience in project accounting, cost engineering or financial analysis.
- Experience in construction of renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hydro, BESS) is essential.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or CAPM certification is highly desirable.
Required skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
