Project Civil Engineer

About the role

The Project Civil Engineer will lead the coordination and monitoring of site development, construction, and design implementation for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) plant. You will ensure the project follows the construction plan and schedule while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and project teams to guarantee timely construction activities and material delivery.
• Supervise site development and civil works, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
• Monitor project progress, prepare status reports, and implement risk mitigation measures.
• Inspect materials, maintain project documentation, and manage equipment logistics.
• Review construction drawings and verify compliance with Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in renewable energy, BESS, or infrastructure construction projects.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced project environment and willingness to be assigned to the Pililla BESS project site.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
• Understanding of power substations.
• Experience with civil and electrical construction works.
