Programmatic Supply Chain and Management Coordinator

About the role

The Programmatic Supply Chain and Management Coordinator will oversee planning, forecasting, procurement, distribution, and monitoring of HPV testing and treatment commodities across Jhpiego’s Women’s Cancer portfolio. The role ensures continuous availability of test kits, reagents, assays, and laboratory supplies to support cervical cancer secondary prevention initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quantification and forecasting of HPV test kits, reagents, consumables and related supplies based on project targets and screening data.
• Collaborate with the Women’s Cancer Technical Team to align supply‑chain plans with national and sub‑national service delivery goals.
• Develop quarterly supply plans with implementing partners to maintain optimal stock levels and support local health systems.
• Identify supply‑chain risks such as stockouts or delays and create contingency and emergency resupply plans.
• Support procurement processes, prepare technical specifications, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor stock status across sub‑national, local and facility levels and coordinate distribution to central laboratories and screening sites.
• Maintain proper storage conditions and adhere to inventory management protocols.
• Prepare regular reports on stock levels, consumption trends, wastage and supply‑chain performance using LMIS or similar tools.
• Work closely with local health offices, sub‑national cervical cancer control units, donors and other stakeholders to ensure streamlined workflow.
• Provide training and technical support to build capacity in supply‑chain management.

Required profile

• Experience in supply‑chain planning, forecasting and inventory management for health commodities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical teams, implementing partners and government health offices.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder coordination.
