Product Engineer (Manufacturing)

About the role

Analog Devices is hiring a Product Engineer (Manufacturing) in its GTC office. The engineer drives improvement activities at supplier manufacturing factories, supporting yield improvement, product characterization, test time reduction and process simplification, while sustaining product performance and yield.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and drive improvement activities at supplier manufacturing factories
• Provide technical assistance on yield improvement projects to increase product yields and reduce scrap costs
• Support product characterization driven by new product requirements and post-release activities
• Reduce test time and simplify process flows to ease capacity constraints
• Support product qualification for new materials, fabs or processes, reducing full factory cost
• Sustain product performance and yield management at supplier factories

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical or Computer Engineering
• At least 2 years of related, progressive semiconductor manufacturing experience
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Required skills

• Product testing, statistical tools (JMP, PDF Extension Test/Yield), failure analysis and debug techniques
• Analysis of analog and digital circuitry
• Teradyne, Flex, NI and Eagle testers, including C++, C# and Visual Basic
• Familiarity with Catalyst, SPEA and HP93K testers and LabVIEW is an added advantage

Travel is required about 10% of the time; the shift type is normal time (Philippines). Export licensing review may apply for non-US citizens and permanent residents.
