Procurement Systems Specialist

About the role

The Procurement Systems Specialist ensures the accuracy and timeliness of item master data and bid uploads while supporting the electronic bidding process. This role acts as the first line of support for system users and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.

Key responsibilities

• Validate and complete Item Master and bid uploads according to guidelines.
• Produce error‑free operational reports for Red Rock data on agreed timelines.
• Maintain 100% data integrity for the electronic bidding process and follow the e‑bid schedule.
• Process vendor deactivation requests, ensuring all active bids are reviewed and closed.
• Coordinate approval matrix and commodity maintenance updates with the IT support team.
• Provide Level 1 support for system inquiries, escalating issues when necessary.
• Perform analytics to support continuous improvement projects.
• Execute other duties related to procurement systems management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of one year of relevant work experience, preferably in data entry or data gathering.
• Strong integrity, analytical thinking, and solution‑oriented mindset.
• Effective communication skills for delivering difficult messages respectfully.
• Understanding of supplier relationship management and regulatory compliance.
