Procurement Specialist

About the role

As a Procurement Specialist you will own the end‑to‑end Source to Pay (S2P) process, supporting both strategic and operational sourcing initiatives. You will work closely with category managers and internal stakeholders to drive cost optimisation, ensure compliance, and enhance supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Support category managers in developing sourcing strategies for indirect spend such as Marketing, IT, Professional Services and Facilities.
• Conduct spend analysis, market research and supplier benchmarking; manage RFI/RFP/RFQ events using SAP Ariba S2C.
• Evaluate supplier proposals with structured frameworks and draft/review contracts (MSA, SOW, PO terms) in coordination with Legal, InfoSec and Risk.
• Maintain procurement records, create purchase requisitions and orders in the local SDP tool, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly dashboards on savings, cycle time and compliance; perform advanced data analysis using Excel (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas).
• Support supplier performance evaluations, scorecards and vendor risk assessments, resolving operational issues as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or a related field.
• 3–4 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably in financial services or insurance.
• Relevant certification such as CIPS or CPSM.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
