Procurement Sourcing and Engagement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Sourcing and Engagement Manager leads an offshore procurement team from a service delivery centre, partnering with on‑shore stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing initiatives, cost efficiencies and governance. This senior position influences high‑value deals, supports end‑to‑end sourcing processes and contributes to continuous improvement across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of procurement specialists.
• Identify and execute high‑value sourcing strategies aligned with savings targets.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with procurement policies.
• Review, negotiate and finalize supplier contracts for commercial optimisation.
• Manage high‑volume, low‑value sourcing transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
• Coordinate with on‑shore sourcing managers to maintain service quality.
• Support end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including supplier onboarding, risk mitigation, contract management and purchasing.
• Address escalations, resolve procurement issues and support audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, category management or related procurement roles within a shared‑services environment.
• Proven experience in contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management and leadership abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with procurement systems such as Oracle, SAP Ariba or Ivalua.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, Access).
