Procurement Manager – Strategic Sourcing Lead

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and detail‑oriented Procurement Manager to lead our sourcing activities and strengthen supplier partnerships. The role focuses on cost efficiency, quality standards, and aligning procurement with overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily procurement operations and guide the sourcing team.
• Create and execute sourcing plans that balance cost, quality, and reliability.
• Lead supplier negotiations and finalize long‑term agreements.
• Evaluate active contracts for compliance and value.
• Build productive vendor relationships and identify collaboration opportunities.
• Review purchasing activities for accuracy, timeliness, and standards adherence.
• Identify risks in supplier agreements and develop mitigation strategies.
• Track procurement expenditures and recommend cost‑control initiatives.
• Generate insights and reports to support leadership decision‑making.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement meets operational needs.
• Take on additional responsibilities as business priorities evolve.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant sourcing or procurement experience.
• Proven experience leading teams or projects.
• Familiarity with procurement tools and ERP systems such as SAP.
• Strong negotiation and vendor‑management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of purchasing processes and contract lifecycle management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
• Leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective communication.
