Procurement Assistant (Supplier Risk Management)

About the role

The Procurement Assistant joins AECOM’s Source to Pay team, supporting the risk management of third‑party business partners. Working under direct supervision, you will help ensure supplier information is accurate, compliant, and up‑to‑date across all relevant systems.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze new supplier request forms, conduct investigations and background checks, and verify legitimacy and compliance.
• Coordinate with suppliers to update information in internal systems and communicate requirements to requesting departments.
• Maintain and update contact information for new and existing suppliers.
• Support the Inherent Risk Questionnaire (IRQ) process, including retriggering, tracking progress, and handling timeouts.
• Monitor active IRQs, identify delays, and escalate issues with senior team members.
• Review paused IRQs, communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resume or cancel onboarding.
• Assist with supplier recertification and ensure compliance with organizational standards.

Required profile

• Works under direct supervision and follows assigned tasks.
• Collaborates closely with Procurement, Cross‑Functional Partners, Requisition‑to‑Receipt, Invoice‑to‑Pay, and Accounts Payable/Receivable teams.
• Strong attention to detail for documentation and record‑keeping.
